🇪🇸 Spain — Digital Nomad Visa
Work remotely from one of Europe's most vibrant and culturally rich countries. Spain's Digital Nomad Visa (Visado Para Nómadas Digitales) lets you legally live in Spain while continuing to work for your foreign employer or clients — with a special low flat tax rate.
Introduced in 2023 under Spain's "Startup Act" (Law 28/2022), the Digital Nomad Visa is designed for remote workers and self-employed professionals who can perform their work digitally for non-Spanish companies or international clients.
What makes Spain's DNV uniquely attractive is the optional application of the "Beckham Law" (Régimen Especial para Trabajadores Impatriados), which allows qualifying nomads to pay a special tax rate of 19% to 24% on Spanish-earned income instead of the standard progressive rates (which can reach 47%). This is a massive financial advantage.
The residency permit is valid for 5 years, providing full Schengen mobility. After 5 years of legal residence, you may apply for long-term permanent EU residence, and after 10 years, Spanish citizenship (with some exceptions for citizens of former Spanish territories).

Named after footballer David Beckham who famously used it, this special tax regime allows qualifying foreign workers in Spain to pay a special reduced tax rate of 19% to 24% on earnings up to €600,000 instead of Spain's regular progressive scale (up to 47%). This benefit gives nomads an exceptional financial advantage while enjoying life in Spain.

The Beckham Law (Régimen Especial para Trabajadores Impatriados) allows qualifying foreign workers to pay a special tax rate of 19% to 24% instead of the progressive scale up to 47%. You must apply for it separately within 6 months of registering as a Spanish tax resident. Our team handles this application as part of our complete DNV service.

Spain's Digital Nomad residency route is valid for 5 years (with initial visa and subsequent residence permit renewals). After 5 years of continuous legal residence, you can apply for permanent EU residency.

Yes, indirectly. After 5 continuous years of legal residency in Spain, you can apply for long-term EU residency.
